January Favorites

Image
This month revolved around getting sick twice, taking time off, and stressing over all of the little things. Nick and I spent the majority of our time off binge watching Grey's Anatomy on Netflix in bed going through a box of Sudafed and tissues together. So please excuse the very small amount of makeup on the list and the exuberant amount of random cozy yet wonderful products that I may have overused this month. Enjoy the products and can't wait to read what you guys think about them! As usual, there are categories so if something does not interest you this time around, then you can keep on scrolling! Cozy Items Tazo Refresh Mint Tea Earlier this month I wrote a chit chat surrounding the winter season and getting sick. This tea is so soothing and delicious that I started drinking it every morning! Now, I am not a hot beverage drinking type of person, but I knew my throat needed something warm and my taste buds needed something tasty. The peppermint really shines th

Cupcake Mask Review

My roommates are always bringing home new Lush stuff anywhere from hair care, body care, and masks. To be completely honest, most of the things I can't try just because of the scent of their scent. So this is one of the first products I actually enjoyed the scent of and benefited from! Cupcake Fresh Face Mask is made specifically for oily skin. The packaging, that you can see below, says it calms with cocoa powder and softens with balancing spearmint and sandalwood oils. It almost smelled like a chocolate cupcake with Andes Chocolate Mints as the icing. Cupcake is a rich and thick clay mask that was a little hard to spread on the face evenly. The smell became a bit overwhelming after 15 minutes. I used a warm damp towel to remove and it came off in chunks. The mask left my face smooth but a little on the dry side. As many of you know I have combination skin that leans towards dry recently. After this mask, I doused myself in moisturizer and felt great. This would be great for

Drugstore Shampoo & Conditioner

Image
The drugstore is a goldmine for hair products but half of the battle is finding something that works with your hair the way you want it too. As most of you know, I have been posting all my favorites from the drugstore as a mini series broken down into categories, so if you're interested in the other posts, I will have them linked below. I first tried this duo when I started getting the Walmart Beauty Box Subscription. They offer the subscription to those who sign up for $5 per season and it comes full of sample packets, deluxe samples, and coupons for products sold at Walmart. This pair is from the Spring 2015 beauty box. My favorite products so far, and the ones that I actually purchased are the Schwarzkopf essence ULTIME Omega Repair & Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner. Schwarzkopf is an expert company globalized in 1898 as one of the world's most innovative hair companies. They own companies like got2b, ULTIME and Keratin Color, in addition to professional salon pr
