Holiday Vamp Look

Less than a week until Christmas and only that much closer to a new year, and I still have presents to wrap, cookies to bake, parties to attend, and posts to write. This is where I have started to find my peace, that through the chaos of Christmas, I feel creatively driven to try out new things and those new things may entail busting out an old glamour dust from Too Faced. Seriously, I don't remember when I bought it, but it is still going strong. I try not to hash out too many details on here, but I am still finding my way. Hopefully in the new year I can find my voice in the sea of beauty bloggers, vloggers, and all those in between. For now, I am sticking with these holiday looks from glam to simple. As for the lip, it is a wonderful color, not buildable, easy to apply and remove, dries quickly, but becomes chunky after a few coats and a couple sips of water. I've noticed the MR Intense Laquers have been pretty inconsistent, the one I used in my last glam look showed as a light gloss and this one is a deep matte, so be careful when picking these out if you're ever in Ulta. Where I've been for 2.5 years

New Years Resolution for 2016

A new year entitles us all to a new beginning. As the year ends, most people like to set new goals and aspirations to make the next year better than the one before and to improve themselves. Last year, I challenged myself to stop drinking soda, something that I am absolutely in love with. Those 30 days were such a struggle and I gained so much support in the process. I have gone back to drinking soda only because the other drinks I replaced it with had just as much sugar, if not more. Now, I honestly drink a lot less. In one night Nick and I could finish off a 12 pack and still need more, whereas now the same amount can last us weeks. I am proud of myself for the progress I’ve made with soda in less than a year.
